is a weblog about how urban public space is changing due to the ever present use of mobile phones and other wireless communication devices. What I want to discuss here is in what ways mobile communication technologies affect people’s everyday life. I am interested in how the use of mobile phones (or cellphones) is transforming public life and patterns of movement and encounters in cities (or rather: in urban landscapes).
The blog is part of my publications within research program MobiScape, funded by Vetenskapsrådet and FORMAS.
